Because granite is a natural stone, each slab is unique, beautiful and will enhance the value of your property. and beautiful. Overall, granite is a great surface for both homes and businesses.

    Dolomite

If you are looking for an affordable, beautiful countertop that can complement your décor, dolomite is perfect for you. Although dolomite is a lesser-known stone, it has been rapidly gaining popularity. Available in shades of white and gray, dolomite resembles marble. However, it is tougher than marble. This is a show stopping material that will enhance the look and feel of any property.

    Marble

This material is one of the most beautiful natural stones found on earth. While porcelain and quartz can imitate the look of marble, nothing compares to the real thing. Infused with rich crystals, marble is available in a variety of colors. However, marble is more porous than other materials so spills should be cleaned up immediately.

    Quartzite

Quartzite is formed from fine grains of quartz and sandstone through a process of pressurization and heat. Not only does this make quartzite extremely durable, but it also creates a stunning surface. Quartzite color patterns resemble marble, and include white, brown, black, and blue. As with many natural exotic surfaces, periodic sealing is needed to prevent staining.

    Quartz

Quartz has become a popular and reliable surface choice for kitchens, baths, tables, and desktops. As one of the hardest minerals on earth, quartz is extremely durable and will not chip, crack, or stain. Additionally, our Castle Quartz can be manufactured to look like granite, marble, onyx, quartzite and more.

The kitchen is the heart and soul of our home. It is a magical place where the mother sprinkles love, where the father’s experiments take place, and a space where the daughters and sons make their first half-burnt meal.

6 types of countertop edges for your kitchen

    EASED EDGE

    WATERFALL EDGE

    BEVELED EDGE

Eased Edges are a pocket-friendly choice, which makes them quite popular for both traditional and modern kitchens. This edge can go with any kitchen countertop material, and the round edges prevent chipping.

If you want the benefits of an eased edge with a slightly modernized and streamlined look, then go with square edges instead of round. The square edges can easily blend with any type of kitchen decor. However, one thing you need to note is that the square edges are way more likely to get chipped than the round ones.

    BEVELED EDGE

    WATERFALL EDGE

    BEVELED EDGE

It is a type of edge that is marked by a sharp 45-degree edge. This cut gives a feel of a well-defined border for the kitchen countertop and renders an elegant finish.

There are plenty of variations of beveled edges.

You can either go with ½ or ¼ bevel. Further, there are two more options: either to have only the top edge beveled or both the bottom edges beveled. Out of all kitchen countertop edge choices, this is the most cost-friendly and best suited for a kitchen renovation on a budget.

    WATERFALL EDGE

    WATERFALL EDGE

    WATERFALL EDGE

If you want your kitchen to have a contemporary design, then the waterfall edge is a great choice.

Unlike any other edge type, the waterfall edge extends the countertop down to its ends. To put it in simple terms, the material tends to give off a feeling that it is flowing downward or somewhat approaching the flooring. However, this is a slightly pricey edge type, as to implement this style, extra material is required along with detailed fabrication.

    BULLNOSE EDGE

    BULLNOSE EDGE

    WATERFALL EDGE

The bullnose edge has a gently rounded top and bottom that present a timeless and classic look to your kitchen countertop. The overall smooth profile of this edge adds a stroke of sophistication and elegance to the kitchen, therefore making it a hot trend choice among homeowners. Although the bullnose edge doesn’t have that modern flair about it, it is still a practical option as it makes cleaning and maintaining the kitchen countertop much easier.

    STRAIGHT EDGE

    BULLNOSE EDGE

    STRAIGHT EDGE

Out of many types, this edge type remains a timeless choice for your kitchen. It gives a versatile look to your kitchen, whether it is old, traditional, or even modern. Its adaptability makes it stand out from the other varieties. The crisp design will maximize your countertop space.

    CHISELED EDGE

    BULLNOSE EDGE

    STRAIGHT EDGE

Finally, we have the chiseled edge. It is different from the straight edge or beveled edge because it has an approach that is far more textured. A chiseled edge adds a rustic or rugged appearance to your kitchen. The chiseled-edge countertop gives your kitchen a farmhouse-like style.
